Sigma possesses considerable experience with generating plants of all fuel types, including natural gas, oil, naptha, coal, municipal solid waste and biomass with transmission level interconnect voltages from 69kV to 500kV. It has also designed systems and entire central utility plants supplying chilled water, hot water, low pressure steam and compressed air to industrial and commercial facilities.
Sigma’s time tested approach to “retrofit” services results in cost effective replacement of obsolete equipment, system upgrades and operational enhancements. Sigma has executed projects across the US, and internationally, thereby developing familiarity with local codes and work practices as well knowledge of qualified local contractors.
